If a man and a woman do exactly the same job, they should get the same salary

Nigel Farage's explanation that women are less likely to do better than men when women have career breaks that keeps them away from the workplace still does not justify the fact that some women get less pay for doing exactly the same job. People who do the same job with the same level of responsibility should be paid the same regardless of gender.

They do the same job. They have the same obligations. They have the same level of expertise and still women are put at the end of the queue when it comes to income and the right to move to higher levels within the organisation.

As a man, I say that such injustice is absolutely intolerable and this is something that Lib Lab Con have done very little about. Lib Lab Con are still riddled with the macho mentality that has characterized Britain for a very long time.

You only have to look at what is happening right now not only when it comes to pay but also when it comes to attitudes towards women. None other than a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords believes that it is his prerogative to go around pestering women of his own political party and very little is done about him.
